Old Workplace

visited my previous workplace today. no, i should say i am visiting my old workplace, am actually posting this entry from the office with my ex-colleagues around me. the work station, computer, chair etc, they are all so familiar. and also, feels good to catch up with old pals and exchange lunar new year greetings.

and oh ya, when i was walking in towards the main entrance just now, some member of the public actually kind of recognised me. wow, i guess he must be a really super 追星族 to be able to recognise even me! 名副其实的超级粉丝！

旧地重游的感觉真好，而且还拿了不少 free gift!

iPhone手机

红、橙、绿。三家电信公司都已经获得苹果iPhone手机的销售权，并各自推出诱人配套。就这样，街头巷尾都可听到人们谈论iPhone。 众人都想抢购iPhone的当儿，我却还在使用传呼机。 哎呀，别大惊小怪，只是把它当作闹钟使用！什么，你说手机不也有闹钟功能吗？没错，不过我一般都会设定至少两个闹钟。

梦醒时分

有一场梦，我做了很久。六年。最近，梦醒了。

梦醒之际，最近也换了一份工作。离开了媒体工作的五光十色，转换跑道去了。已经开始想念她了。

这时候，突然想起好像有一句歌词这么唱：“谢谢你曾经爱过我。”我也想说一句：“谢谢你曾经听过我。”盼有缘，他日再相会。

一路好走

今天是她的忌日。

朋友，一路好走。

前两个星期，我工作值夜班。观察了两周，感觉人们在忙碌了一整天后，晚上夜深人静的时候，似乎特别容易有很多感触，有时还会有点忧郁。

朋友对我说：“life is short. whatever the problem is about, let it go and make each day count.”

借这句话跟所有有心事的朋友说声“加油”！

June's Blogger of the Month

was so proud of my blogging exploits in june that i awarded myself the Blogger of the Month award. reason for winning the award: i recorded 2 personal bests in the month. firstly, it was the first time i posted entries on 3 consecutive days from 24-26Jun. secondly, i recorded 8 entries for the month, beating my previous best of 7.

all the blogging in june must have taken its toil on me, for it seems that i started to slack off in july. but still, will be here to practise my typing, am working on introducing the wonderfull places and activities in singapore too!

Why No Picture?!?!

somehow, i cant post pictures on my blog when im blogging from home. i will click the same "add image" icon like i always do and go through the same procedures, but the picture just wont show up! i am not experiencing the same problem with the office computer though. for my previous post, i wrote my blog at home and added the picture in office.

until i figure out the root of the problem, guess i will be blogging more often from workplace, at least for the picture part.

说回“被逼”在公司戴上识别证的保安问题，或许因为我并不是什么保安领域的专家，我真的不明白，人人戴上识别证又将如何提升公司的保安呢？保安部门的原因大概是，要确保没有闲杂人等进入公司范围。我想，若要确保闲人免进，应该是把大门的把关工作做好吧。就像一个国家，她会在各个关卡严加把关，但你可以想像法律规定我们一出门就得把身份证或护照挂在脖子上吗？

我只有不理解，没有不满，所以还是遵守了公司的规定，乖乖戴上我的员工证。

如果Michael Jackson到我们公司... ...

看到这么一则报道，指Michael Jackson是唯一一个能戴着墨镜进入白宫的艺人。像Michael Jackson这种地位的国际巨星，获得特别待遇本来并不应该让人感到惊讶，不过那毕竟是全世界保安最为森严之一的美国总统府，由此可见，他果真是巨星中的巨星。 Michael 1984年在白宫由美国前总统Ronald Reagan夫妇接见

上个月起，我的工作场所开始非常严格地执行“员工必须时时刻刻戴上员工证”的条例（当然访客可同样必须时时刻刻戴上访客证”。违例者会被保安部门记下名字，但不知他们将面临怎样的处分。条例执行得严格到什么程度？据说，把识别证拿在手上也不行，非得你乖乖地把它套在颈项，或是夹在衣服上。

看了上述那则关于Michael Jackson的报道，脑子浮出这样一个疑问：如果是Michael Jackson来参观拜访我们公司的话，保安部门会不会上前要求他在那晶光闪闪的服装上别着他的访客证呢？

那个“矮的”

近来，对于新加坡娱乐圈那个“矮的”，街头巷尾不少人都在议论纷纷。有人认为，这个行为是愚蠢的，没有吸取他人的前车之鉴，竟然重蹈覆辙。

是的，歌唱选秀电视节目“新加坡矮的”（Singapore Idol）又来了。但是，一些过去都有追看这个节目的朋友已经表示，他们将舍弃这个节目。也有人认为，第二季的比赛就已经失去了首播时的新鲜感，节目的受欢迎程度似乎也有了下滑的迹像，如今却一意孤行，胆敢推出第三系列，这简直是愚蠢的自杀式行为。

对我而言，虽然不会追看节目，但还是期待比赛发掘并栽培出出色的歌手，为大家带来动听的歌曲。
